“SHAPE ME”, the first single and music video from the new EP is out!<\/strong><\/p>

As the first track from the upcoming EP “Going back Home”, SHAPE ME<\/em> showcases the band’s sonic power and sharp songwriting. Driven by Adrian Bushby\u2019s crisp, front-and-center production, the track proves that 7WEEKS’ unique brand of heavy rock fits squarely into the great Anglo-Saxon power trio tradition: just bass, drums, guitar, and vocals. Meanwhile, the lyrics take an ironic look at the standardization of image and the loss of authenticity: “Come on now, try to shape me”.<\/p>

Directed by William Windrestin & Julien Garreau, the video captures the band in a chiaroscuro setting, pierced by flashes and fleeting lights. It\u2019s an aesthetic choice to step away from the shameless overexposure that has become today’s absolute rule of self-representation.<\/p>
