“SHAPE ME”, the first single and music video from the new EP is out!

As the first track from the upcoming EP “Going back Home”, SHAPE ME showcases the band’s sonic power and sharp songwriting. Driven by Adrian Bushby’s crisp, front-and-center production, the track proves that 7WEEKS’ unique brand of heavy rock fits squarely into the great Anglo-Saxon power trio tradition: just bass, drums, guitar, and vocals. Meanwhile, the lyrics take an ironic look at the standardization of image and the loss of authenticity: “Come on now, try to shape me”.

Directed by William Windrestin & Julien Garreau, the video captures the band in a chiaroscuro setting, pierced by flashes and fleeting lights. It’s an aesthetic choice to step away from the shameless overexposure that has become today’s absolute rule of self-representation.
